Do I ready for this?

Ada wacana aku bakal dipindahin ke Jakarta Office. Yah, kalaupun jadi pindah, kejadiannya nggak bakalan minggu depan ato bulan depan, mungkin malah baru enam bulan lagi 😛 hehehe aku pengen selama mungkin tinggal di Bandung. Awalnya, sekitar dua bulan yang lalu;

Si boss: “Ruth, what do you think about setting Lamination office at Jakarta? As I will not able to move to Bandung and I need staff to back me up”

Aku (rada jaim): “that would be good idea, these days, you going once a week to Bandung then busy with meeting and other bla bla bla.. not give more attention your staffs here or even the bussines, I think that was not effective, you need to go more blend, maybe with having a back up at Jkt, you will not wasting your time anymore just for comuting Bdg – Jkt”

Si boos (mancing): “I absolutely agree with you, so now I can say that we have a vacant for Jkt office, Am trying to bring my staff, who has work for me for years for this new assignment but the big boss not allowing, taking new person will take some process. What do you think? We need quick movement ya…”

Aku (bales mancing): “How about taking staff from Bdg?”

Si boss (mancing-mancing): “Yeah… that is what coming out in my mind, but I heard that our fashion fabric could not do that, nobody from basic fabric moving to Jkt even the marketing head should go, do you think any regulation about that? ”

Aku (maunya bales mancing malah kepancing): “That is not because the system or regulation, what I’ve heard was they won’t to move because of the compensation, fabric staffs mostly having family to move also, so… a bit complicated. In our case, all your staffs are single, that would be more easier but of course, we should discuss about the compensation”

Si bos: “So, who you would recomended to moving Ruth? I would prefer you to move but I know that you love Bandung so much, so I feel hesitate to offering you”

Skak deh…

Aku: “I think, that is your decision Pak, I have nobody to recomend, however, if you offering me, I would consider it. Yes, I love this city, I wish no need for me to move to other city especially Jkt, it was too agresive for me, I am orang kampung pak… but even I love Bdg, I love myself most, I will consider every chance, every opportunity that passing by. I will grab the offer if the ‘package’ is meet with my expectation”

Si boss: “So, can we start discuss about your move?”

I can’t say no to my boss 😦 ya… ya… he was good negosiator, he knows that he can’t say “you should move” to me but offer me and let me ‘help’ him.

Dan sejak saat itu, hingga sekarang, aku sibuk mondar-mandir survey berapa sebaiknya yang aku minta sebagai kompensasi. ditimbang-timbang, dipikir-pikir… ugh… sekarang prosesnya tinggal nego dan nunggu approval sign dari owner and directors. Hehehehe, rumit kan… mau pindah staff aja mesti approval dari dewa langit tujuh, untuk ukuran company dengan turn over 1,8 billion USD kantorku terlalu sibuk dengan birokrasi. Ah, sudah kubilang, kantorku ini, miniaturnya Indonesia, semua birokarasinya muter-muter.

Whua… tapi feelingku nih ya… kayaknya mereka bakal ngasih yang aku mau deh, memang pasti nawar tapi… paling nggak aku pasti dapetin 90% deh, pe de banget deh… emh… feelingku tuh biasanya terbukti sih… jadi, just trust my ‘sign’ ajah…

Cuma, makin deket… makin jelas arahnya, kok aku makin ‘ketakutan’ harus meninggalkan Bandung ya? Duh… apa sih yang menarik dari Bandung? Pacar gak ada, macet, kotor… hiks… siap gak ya jadi penghuni Jakarta?
